About to the Black Brant Group

The Black Brant Group was formed in 1996 as a dedicated volunteer non-profit corporation under non-profit public benefit corporation law for public and charitable purposes. The specific purpose of this corporation is to raise funds and to support non-profit groups whose concerns are preservation of waterfowl, the tradition of hunting, the protection of natural resources, and the reduction of conflicts between hunters and the general public.

Over the past 17 years, our funds have been used to support Black Brant research in Alaska, to support California Outdoor Heritage Alliance and California Waterfowl Association, and to participate in California Department of Fish and Game regulation meetings. Your support makes this possible.
